Otherlands: A Global Music Exploration follows GRAMMY nominated 5-string American fiddler Casey Driessen as he travels with his family to various countries across the globe to meet with local acoustic-based musicians with roots in their own traditions. Musical and cultural exchanges are documented via audio, video and photography elements with collected materials released over the course of the project.

*UPDATE (Apr. 16, 2020): Trips to Estonia, Norway & Sweden have been postponed due to health concerns and restricted travel as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bio:
Casey Driessen is a fiddle player now living in Nashville, Tennessee. He's played/collaborated with Béla Fleck, Bassekou Kouyate, The Sparrow Quartet, Tim O’Brien, Darrell Scott, Steve Earle, and Frank Vignola (along with musicians from China, from the Republic of Tuva, and from four African countries), and he also leads his own band, The Colorfools.
Casey recorded for the soundtrack to the Johnny Cash film, "Walk the Line".
