Baila Havana is a short visual documentary presenting a portrait of Havana's traditional dance culture. I arrived in Cuba with no plans and a vague hope of filming Cuban dancers. I met and made friends with dancers from Baila Habana, one of the cities dance schools and together we made this film. Shooting on and off over 7 days we wandered around the city seeking out amazing locations and light. All I can hope is that it capture's the vibrance, energy and passion I experiences whilst filming it and that it puts a smile on your face.
