Cedric Watson with Max Lopez - Full Concert Film

Go to → Cedric Watson
Cedric Watson, Creole artist par excellence, direct from Lafayette, La, performed an absolutely tour-de-force concert at Deep End Sessions in the living room of a California farm house before a packed audience, September 7, 2019. He was joined by Max Lopez from Berkeley, CA. This is not only a fine music concert but Cedric’s stories of Creole culture and histories of the music and musicians make this concert much more than music video. Intermission features a bull whip demo by Mr. Wild Watson himself! House concerts, house parties and house dances were the way a lot of this music was first heard and these stories were first passed around. Enjoy this all acoustic, intimate concert and storytelling experience, captured in HD video and hi fi audio. Running time is a full feature length 1 hour 54 minutes. Cedric Watson, fiddle, accordion, vocals & bullwhip(!); Max Lopez, guitar & accordion. Film directed & produced by David Bunn; Audio by Stephen Schauer; Camera’s Alex Blair, Cody Edison, Tyler Bode, Stephen Schauer, DP; Editing Alex Blair & David Bunn. © Deep End Sessions 2020
