A dynamic singer and composer, Thalma de Freitas is known for her genre-defying mix of Samba, Jazz, Afro-Brazilian folk and R&B. De Freitas has lived in Los Angeles since 2012, where she continues to expand her sound with an ensemble of local musicians. Her songwriting and vision have led to an array of collaborations with Brazilian and American luminaries alike, including Caetano Veloso, Gal Costa, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Quantic, Madlib and Kamasi Washington.
