On the eve of July 1, 2021 we played a livestream concert with our quartet and our special guest for that night was the wonderful vocalist Aubrey Johnson from New York City. It was a fun show and for me the highlight was Aubrey singing her Uncle’s song “August.” Her uncle happens to be the one and only Lyle Mays! We love Lyle and it’s good to know that the family musical gene is passing along beautifully. Lyle wrote this song for his grandfather August Olson.
